LPT: When at a restaurant, you can ask to have your leftovers put into your tupperware *before* they bring you the food.

I saw this post of a man who had a 100 dollar giftcard to a restaurant but no tupperware to put leftovers in and had to waste a bunch of food. I worked at a buffet restaurant in my early 20’s and we certainly had many requests to do this, and it should be allowed at any establishment. It’s a little awkward to ask to do this, but you can request that the kitchen staff put some of the food into your tupperware containers before they give you the food. I wish I could find the guy and tell him this.
