Instead of a "Do Not Disturb" sign on your hotel door, write "Do not enter" or "occupied" along with "Not to be cleaned". If someone knocks, give them hell. People left creepy notes and gifts and had even entered people's hotel rooms. This is the best way to avoid that.

I've seen multiple news and tiktoks about people leaving creepy notes or gifts for hotel guests and housekeepers finding them. Recently, I was staying at a hotel and had a housekeeper enter my room despite my Do Not Disturb sign. She started a conversation which made me feel creeped out. I evaporated the conversation and have been thinking of ways to avoid any similar situation. I came up with this. Hope this helps.

Edit: The housekeeper wasn't creepy. When I said she evaporated the conversation, I meant I did. Sorry to imply she was creepy, though her entering the room was. I have photos too of her notes if you want.
