I (30's F) live in an apartment. There is a laundry room that is shared, with two washers and two dryers. You can leave your laundry in the dryer if you're not there in time, and the next person will remove your laundry and set it on the shelf so that they can use the machine.

A few months ago, there was a dispute with one of our neighbors when my fiancé found a sweater of hers in the lost and found. She thought our neighbor stole it, and our neighbor was angry that my fiancé dared to keep her sweater. (It's kind of a long story as to why, but I had moved the found clothes to the laundry room because the previous residents would often throw their things in the lost and found and claim they were stolen.)

Anyway, this neighbor saw me in the laundry room doing my laundry, and she was doing her laundry too. She definitely hates me, so she started putting her wet clothes in the dryer, and setting the timer for two hours. I left the laundry room for a few minutes to run an errand, and when I came back, her clothes were done. I removed it and set it on the shelf.

When she came back, she was very angry that I touched her clothes. I don't use the dryers because I air dry everything. I told her she was messing with me on purpose, and if she didn't want her clothes touched, she should have waited for me to finish my laundry. I also told her that if she wanted to play games with me, I could take her clothes out of the dryer whenever I see it, and she'd have to redry it.

She got very angry and told me that she will call the cops on me if she catches me touching her clothes. I told her I would call the cops if I catch her touching mine, and she got mad. I don't know what the hell is wrong with some people. Since then, I will take out her clothes from the dryer and lay it on the floor instead of the shelf, but the last time, I put it back in the washer with the dirty water that hadn't been drained.
