I stole hundreds of dollars for years by deceitfully manipulating a kiosk at the mall, and never got caught.

I used to manipulate a photo sticker kiosk at the mall into giving me free pictures when the screens weren't looking. This card swiper device they used sat on top of the machine at an angle where you couldn't really see it from the front. The workers were all focused on putting the stickers on and didn't even look at the card swiper when they were busy taking people's money.<br><br>You could put the money in, swipe the card, and it would prompt you to put it in the reader thing on the swiper. But if you quickly took your card out at the exact same time you put it in, the kiosk thought you were just swiping it, and the money you put in would already register. So you could get your photos for free.<br><br>I did this on and off for about 2 years on and off. They never noticed, and I took hundreds of dollars from them, spending 5 minutes here and there making cute pictures. <br><br>Although this was 15 years ago, it’s a memory that I laugh about frequently, even though it’s guilt inducing. I just need to let someone know.<br><br>Edit: To all the people saying that I was only stealing a few dollars here and there, you just don't understand.
