I stole hundreds of dollars of pens and pencils from Walmart

I didn’t need them and I definitely wasn’t struggling financially. When I was 13 our family traveled to California for vacation and the day before we left there was an ad for a pack of ballpoint pens for 97 cents that was next to the Sunday newspaper. I cut out the ad and said screw it. <br><br>I got really real pens and pencils, not the basic ones. I had a big winter coat on and so I put it around my waist, under my arms. When we walked out of the store I set off the alarms but no one stopped us. <br><br>The next several years, I didn’t buy a pen or pencil. I still use them to this day at work.
