Context: the Sims 4 is the fourth major game in the Sims series. It was released in 2014. That's the time when the PS3 and Xbox 360 were the current gen consoles. <br><br>The game was heavily criticized for lacking a lot of the popular Sims 3 content, so EA released the content in DLC's for the Sims 4. 9 years later, it has more than 70 DLC's. <br><br>The base game was 60 bucks, its DLC's range from 10 to 60 bucks in price. They are also sold in bundles. <br><br>Not including the DLC's, the base game had more than 100 free major updates, which means content, or buildings or items that could have been sold as DLC, is instead given away for free.<br><br>Yet the game is still considered an "early access" game, meaning it's not done.
