LPT: If you are flying into the USA as a tourist, buy your hotel bookings, car rentals, plane tickets, etc, through Expedia

I recently traveled to the USA and talking to other tourists I heard an absolute horror story. You want to come in as a tourist, and show that you're leaving. The official policy is not to tell you why they are stopping you from entering, and you will be stopped if you don't show a departure.<br><br>One guy was stopped in the airport because his hotel booking ended a day before the end of his car booking (which was booked through a different service).<br><br>If you use expedia, you can book as many hotels and cars as you want and not pay for any. All you pay for is your plane ticket. This will satisfy the 'this guy is planning on leaving' requirement. I was even able to just go to a kiosk in the airport and print out a random hotel booking.<br><br>The US is an absolute shitshow when it comes to immigration. I've traveled all over the world and have never had the sheer amount of problems that I have in the USA.<br><br>&#x200B;
