A heart is a muscle in the circulatory system that pumps blood and oxygen to the rest of the body.

A lot of animals have hearts. But they also have lungs, eyes, ears, etc. None of these HEARTS have feelings. When a heart beats, it's just an expression of the physical process that's happening to the muscle.

There's no scientific evidence to show that non-humans have feats or what we think of as feelings.

So many inbreeders think their dogs "love" them. They don't. They bond with you because you're their pack leader. Same with cats. A lot of animals will bond with you. But they don't LOVE you. They don't have the capacity for that.

I don't care if your dog was cuddly or your cat was "affectionate". It doesn't have feelings. Dogs are pack animals. They want to build loyalty. Cats are solitary animals and the social ones want attention for food.

Please stop anthropomorphizing your pets. It straight up isn't scientifically accurate.
