Has anyone tried the Lawrence shooting method?

Has anyone tried Lawrence shooting shooting method …the method that states not to have vaginal sex for 2 weeks prior and do 2 sessions of dry pumping before each sperm donation to release dead nugs …anyone of you guys have tried this method? …the results of the study as seen in Lawrence’s paper is 5% increase in fertility however I’m looking for personal opinions before trying the method
