Now imagine if we can't escape the simulation.

It's such a ridiculous debate, but if we did find out that we are in a simulation and our consciousness was a result of a simulation, there's no real way to escape. There's no being like Neo, because the simulators would want to watch Neo alot more than they want to watch us, and they'd prevent him from existing.<br><br>On the other hand, the game of Sim City was just a game, and the people in the sim city have no capacity to imagine that they exist within a sim city.<br><br>So what do we do if we find out we exist within a simulation? Should we try to get off, should we try to make the best of it? There's a stupid debate about animal cruelty, but is the cruelty of putting animals in captivity or an entire universe of humans in a simulation worse?<br><br>At this point, I'd rather we not learn at all and just continue living in the game.
