What is your favorite anime trope to hate?

Personally, mine is the "stunned silent girl" that always seems to accompany a happy go lucky anime girl protagonist. I find it infuriating. <br><br>Minekura Kazuya does it a lot in her work. There is the character of Hotohori in Fushigi Yuugi. I thought about mentioning it to her on Twitter, but hesitated. It's an old series, and I think she would find it lame. <br><br>Still though, it's such a big trope I like in anime. I'd give examples from a few other series.
