How do you write a scene where a character is high?

I'm writing a scene where one of my characters is smoking locator weed, which is supposed to make your perception of time get out of whack, and you start to notice all the little things you normally ignore. <br><br>I want to capture the feeling of what it's like to be high, but I'm not gonna lie and say I've never been high in my life. I have no idea what it's like. How do I capture the feeling of being high without going completely overboard or making it seem like it's nothing? I know it's going to be difficult since it's not something I've personally experienced, but are there some general tips that apply to the majority of people?<br><br>If you have any links to stories where a character was high and you thought it was realistic, I'd really appreciate those!<br><br>EDIT: I'm writing a fantasy novel, so I'm not writing about real life drugs.
