I was let go from my remote writing job without any notice

I’m 15 and recently got a remote technical writing job. Things were going well and I wrote 5 articles for a total of 10k words. The company didn’t use a contract, so everything was oral. I was making $300 per article and they said they would send me a check. <br><br>The problem is that I haven’t been paid at all for the articles I wrote and I haven’t heard from my boss in 5 days. I keep texting him, but I haven’t gotten a single reply. My aunt is friends with his husband and I think he might’ve said something bad to him about my quality of writing or something. I haven’t heard back from him since last week and I’m worried that they might’ve let me go without sending me my pay for the articles I wrote. <br><br>I’m not sure what to do or how to get paid. Should I keep waiting for his response? What’s the next step I can take to get paid?
