It’s simply a fact that GPT is trained on our data, and Open AI is now charging for access to its free dataset. <br><br>Open AI (ChatGPT’s parent company) created GPT using the vast amounts of data on the internet. If you’ve ever written an email, online essay, or simply posted on social media, you’re probably helping train GPT. Essentially, your data is what makes GPT tick. You (or people like you) have used the internet extensively and created a lot of data. Open AI has used this data to train GPT. So, when you interact with GPT, you’re interacting with your own data (or at least, data that you’ve helped create). <br><br>Here’s the kicker: Open AI is now charging for access to this free dataset. But Open AI didn’t create this dataset. You did. You’re paying for access to the dataset that YOU created.
