I'm spending an hour *every single day* using ChatGPT. And I'm happy.

I try to shed my Luddite skin every day. Every day, I give 1 hour of my life to play, experiment, and analyze how generative AI can improve my life. This does not include AI that is used for work, although that's important too. And I'm learning a lot and finding real value.

After all, I used to do this same exact exercise learning how to use the Internet in the '90s.

I wake up and give God a ChatGPT prayer, just to get in the habit. Then I use it to generate a few jokes. Are they funny? Not particularly. Do they make me laugh? Kind of. Do I enjoy them? Absolutely. I almost have the urge to buy a plaything ChatGPT friend to make life more interesting.

I generate quizzes to make my workday less boring. This is actually helpful. When I'm bored, I run a few minutes of ChatGPT and I'm happy enough to refocus. I'm not sure if I'd rather be running or swimming, so I'm going to ask ChatGPT to make a decision for me... and it has turned into an ongoing debate.

I'm also getting great ideas. Some ideas I wouldn't normally think about, and they seem viable. I know they will never come to fruition. But I'm not in this for the money. I'm in this for more interesting idea generation. I've learned to be a lot more creative in my questioning of ChatGPT and it's helping me develop a better problem solving mindset.

Would I recommend any of it to others? Not really. The overall quality isn't good enough. But I don't care. I'm happy imaging the future by using it.

In all, I'm happy with my new habit of AI exploration and creativity. And I hope it continues.
