Trying to find a critique group. Advice?

I have tried joining two groups, which I found through Chambers and Facebook, and was shocked at how poorly organized and difficult to communicate with they are. Both have a very large amount of members, and most of the comments are posters saying they want a critique partner.<br><br>I have also tried commenting and posting myself, and getting zero results. <br><br>I’m starting to think that every writing community open to the public is difficult to join and participate in. Is that the case? <br><br>How have you found a successful critique group and/or writing community? <br><br>TIA.
