What if the Mongols conquered all of Europe?

Let’s pretend the Mongols conquered all of Europe, and held it until the fall of the Yuan in 1368. How would European history be different?

Assuming that the Mongols held all of the continent (excluding islands), plus Anatolia and the Levant, until the fall of the Yuan in 1368, with the Black Death hitting hard in the conquered areas.

This also assumes that the Mongols did not become sinicized in the conquered areas for most of that period.

In this scenario, I imagine that the Mongols would likely set up a khanate for Europe akin to the Golden Horde or the Ilkhanate, likely centered at Kiev or Sarai. They would likely set up their own system of tribute akin to the Golden Horde, with European kings being vassals of the Mongol khan. Perhaps they would appoint their own governors akin to darughachi in the provinces. Medieval kingdoms would be smashed, and they’d be replaced by tribal confederations akin to those in the steppes, or principalities based around tribes.

The Mongols would probably encourage migration of steppe peoples into Europe, or perhaps encourage more Mongols to settle the newly conquered areas.

The Mongols likely wouldn’t interfere too much with the governance of the newly conquered areas, as long as tribute was paid. But perhaps they would introduce their own legal code, such as the Yassa.

The Mongols might also encourage trade between Europe, the Middle East, and East Asia, with European goods being exported to the east, and Eastern goods being imported to Europe.

The Black Death would likely decimate these European khanates, with the Mongols either fragmenting into smaller, weaker khanates, or being displaced by the remaining European powers.

How would European history be different going forward, if the Mongols had conquered all of Europe?
