After years of tolerating Lithuanian shit and trying to improve the country from the inside, I am done

Dear friends, I am done with being a Lithuanian patriot, who was trying to improve this country for years by voting for progressive parties, donating to charities, donating my time to local community projects etc. Governments came and went, but the country has become worse with each year. I have not achieved anything, and the country is not only as fuckd up as it was before, but it is even more fucked up than I could have ever imagined. All promises to improve the country were empty, and instead of improving it, the governments only made it even more dysfunctional and poor.

I have also stopped tolerating the shit that Lithuanians do to their own citizens. The only thing Lithuanians ever care about is their epic history and how great they were and how much victims they have been. Every single year, the situation in the country becomes worse and worse, but instead of fixing the country, it is much more important to fight an epic battle to say "no" to refugees, dismiss progressive parties and vote for the same conservative Governments who have been failing us for years and years. What is even more disgusting that I have to witness is how much pure hatred they have towards their own citizens who demand a progressive country. They call them communists, traitors,Putin's agents and many other fancy names. They dismiss progressive ideas and insist that the only democracy is the one that was created by Dainius Gai’auskas, who was kicked from university due to his poor academic performance.

I say - fuck this country and fuck every citizen in it. I will never call myself a Lithuanian again and I will never give a shit about this country again. I swear on my life that will I never vote for any political party in Lithuania again.

Edit 1: I didn't mean to attack anyone personally. I was talking about my feelings about the situation in Lithuania and about patriotism. Unfortunately, it seems that the majority of Lithuanians are no more patriots than I am. I wish you guys the best of luck and hopefully we will have a better future, or at least people will be able to live normal lives. I will be watching from a distance.

Edit 2: I couldn't find a better place to post my feelings about Lithuania and that is why I am here.

Edit 3: Thank you all for your support, wish you all the best of luck and hopefully we will have a great future.
