I think that the most important thing is simply getting it done. As long as your quality of work is the best you can produce, you have done your job. Your job is to perform, so you need to do your best work.

The shocking thing is, is that everyone’s best work is completely different. It can range from “working 9-5” to “Working 24/7”. Everyone’s best work is completely different, and that is the way it’s supposed to be.

Some people (myself included), are perfectionist. Most of them will work 24/7. Some people are naturally gifting with a skill or talent. They might not have to try as hard to perform at 100%, so they might work less hours. Maybe you have a disability, and can’t physically work at 100% at work. That’s okay. As long as you’re doing the best you can at your job, you are doing your job.

We should learn to be happy with our work, and not compare ourselves to others. As long as you’re doing your best, you should be proud of yourself. Everyone’s best work is completely different, and that’s the way it’s supposed to be.
