We have saved for college for years. Our youngest graduates next year. I saw the letter in the mail from our state university and opened it. It was $28k per year in-state. That's insane. We cannot afford that.

When do they expect kids to be able to save for college on their own?. How is it that they can charge so much, and no one bats an eye? I know prices are going up, but wtf.

I am so surprised at the cost of tuition. We cannot afford this. Our state used to have low cost tuition. It was something parents could work a job and save for. Not anymore. I feel like this is the end of the middle class.

If you cannot afford college, where and who do you go to? Every job now requires college. How in the hell did this happen?
