Biden is not the “lesser evil”. Killing the idea that someone can be good and evil at once.

Biden isn’t evil at all. The Republican party is straight up evil.

The entire system of both parties is built on imperialism, capitalism, and white supremacy. Republicans are the loudspeaker for all the evil shit the system stands for, while the Democrats are the loudspeaker for the people’s rights. They’re as good as it gets in terms of the lesser of two evils.

The Democratic party’s beliefs are not only the best we can politically achieve at this point in time, but also align with the values of the people. The Republicans have spent decades slowly dismantling and corrupting the government. When they’re in office, they rig the systems to only benefit themselves and their donors.

Democrats work with the government and people to improve things for people. They’re the only party that even cares to help their citizens. Republicans only care about their donors.

I hear a lot of people that lean left saying they’re going to vote for Trump or don’t want to vote at all because Biden isn’t that different from Trump. This is just plain wrong.

Trump is someone who ran on racism, sexism, xenophobia, and lies. He and his administration have fucked the country over and killed hundreds of thousands of people. They’ve gerrymandered voting districts, suppressed the vote, and put children in cages. They’ve defunded education, healthcare, and social services and defunded the EPA and NASA.

It’s everyone’s responsibility to vote for Biden. His administration has been working on fixing the absolute mess that Trump left behind. They’re working on improving education, protecting the environment, and helping the economy.

*edit: to clarify, we all want the same thing. We want a better system. We don’t want corporations or billionaires telling us what to do and we don’t want one man in charge that thinks he can run our country better than we can. They’re both garbage systems and both are a great example of evil.

But evil doesn’t always look like Rambo with a gun and a smile, terrorizing a town. “Evil” is actually really subjective. People sometimes perceive good intentions as evil if they don’t agree with it. Evil isn’t always evil. Sometimes someone can do a good thing but with bad intentions. That’s not always evil. It’s not always good. Sometimes someone can do a bad thing with good intentions, but that’s also not always evil.

I know some people that think the Democratic party is evil because they feel the government has too much control over their lives and that the Democratic party is for more government control. They’re right, but that doesn’t make them evil. They just feel and see things differently.
