AITA for saying "my partner" instead of my husband?

I have been with my SO for 9 years. We are married. We have 2 kids together. Now when I am talking about him, I say 'my partner' instead of my husband. He goes on and on how calling him partner instead of husband is degrading and feminists have made "my husband" offensive and I am contributing to the problem by giving in and calling him partner. I thought it was a nice change from always saying husband, but he made me feel like shit for doing so. I did not mean to hurt him, but some say he is the one being offensive for telling me exactly what words I can and can't use. AITA here?
