I can only work 10-12 hours a day.

Can it be proven that earning more money by getting a promotion is more than by investing my money?

For example, if I earn 50k a year, I need to save nearly 200k to be able to live from age 60. Theoretically, I need to save 20% of my income every year to retire at 60.

I can work more hours and earn more. If I only work the same 12 hours a day and save all my extra hours to work, thats 30 hours more per week. If I make 50k a year for working 40 hours a week, how much more can I earn by working 70 hours per week?

I am not talking about overtime, I am talking about two different professions.

I can earn 50k a year by working 40 hours a week in one profession. I can earn 100k a year by working 70 hours a week in another profession. So, this profession pays (100-50k)/30 extra hours worked = 1.6k dollars per hour worked.

Is it possible to earn 1.6k per hour with stocks? I dont think so.

To earn 1.6k an hour from stocks, I have to have 100k in stocks and have 1.6% return per hour which is a 16% per day return.
