Something that came to my attention

So basically I was scrolling this page and I started seeing a few users selling the same items at roughly the same price. These items were allegedly high end items for lower prices. I noticed they all had very few post history. I looked into it further and basically they all shared the same picture of a box of items that “came in” to their “store” and the prices are really low for the items. It seemed too good to be true. My first thought was that it was a few fake accounts of someone trying to get rid of a bunch of items. I spoke to a few other members about my concerns and they all suggested the same thing. <br><br>Then I had a message from one of the accounts come in asking if I wanted to buy an ACOG for $197 shipped. The “store” supposedly had a bunch of them come in and they’re selling them at a loss “to get rid of them” and get rid of “old stock” only if someone provides them their name, address, email, and phone number. This just doesn’t sit right with me. <br><br>I’ve tried to message a few of these users and they’re all very evasive and have all started using the same word for word responses for everything. I even offered to send money first if it was legitimate and I would sign a NDA to make them feel better. They refused to send out anything other than the name, address, phone number, email, and payment.<br><br>I’ve looked at their profiles and they don’t have any reviews. If you go to the user profile it shows 5 posts, then if you click on their profile posts, they have 3. They have two private posts that you can’t see and most of them have 0 comments on the posts.<br><br>Has anyone else noticed this? What do you think about this?
