I've found the source?!

I've been trying to win this win this war in my attic for 6 years. I've tried sealing the roof, removing the gutters, replacing them with an all plastic gutter system, installing soffit vents to help with air circulation, and even a condenser Dehumidifier system. None of it worked. I've been using diatomaceous earth to kill and pick up the bugs. <br><br>Well tonight I had the bright idea to shine my flashlight directly into the soffit vents and to my amazement, I saw that the soffit wasn't even attached to the actual roof! When I had the roofers install the new soffit vents, they just nailed the vents to the original soffit and not even the roof. So it was an inch to 2 inch gap at the edge of the roof. <br><br>I used expanding foam to seal the gap and have a work order with a roofer to permanently fix it. <br><br>Good bye bug friends.
