My husband has been sleeping on the job and I have to tell his superiors.

My husband works at a factory. He was about to be let go from his job about a year ago because he was opening the wrong containers of products and it slowed down processes. His superiors were very upset and wanted him gone. I work as an executive assistant at the same factory and was able to convince them to give him a second chance. They did, and it seemed like his work improved a lot. But I just found out that he has been sleeping on the job all this time, sometimes with the help of some colleagues. He visits with our child during lunch, and now I suspect that after lunch sometimes he goes back home to nap or nap in his car and comes back late. I was given his login information, passwords and clock in information so I could monitor him. When he doesn’t clock in on time, I can change the times to make it look like he was at work already at the correct time, and he usually does work well past his 8 hours a day into overtime. I would give him money from my own pay check to pay for the overtime, and the money our child gets for Christmas. He didn’t know I had access to this stuff.

Now that I know, I will certainly tell his superiors about his actions. But I’m heartbroken that our marriage has been a lie. He lied to us the whole time and I vouched for him, so my career is over now too.
