My cousin and I tried Kratom after he discovered it not being illegal in our country.

So, my cousin and I always had a good relationship, mostly living together and traveling together. So, when he was visiting this time, he had a small bag of "pills" in it. I thought he had bought something stupid (like DMT or something), so I asked him about it. He explained that it was Kratom and I was like, what?<br><br>He explained it was a plant or something, and you could smoke it somehow, I was intrigued by that (because we have a moratorium on weed, but the laws are kinda vague). Anyways, he didn't have any weed on him (because of the city he came from), so he tried to smoke it, but it didn't work out, probably because he's not very experienced. Anyways, we dropped the idea, because I was working and we had a couple of things to do on the day, and he had already had some beers.<br><br>But then we were stupid enough to try some at night, after we had already had many beers. I didn't know too much about it, and he gave me a couple, so I popped them in my mouth and that was that. I was stupid enough to drive one of our friends home after that, and at that point I didn't feel too much, so I drove home fine too. We decided to cap the night off, so we went to sleep.<br><br>I woke up the next morning to the worst ever hangover of my life, I didn't even know how I got there, so I went to check the clock. I was feeling extremely woozy, so I went back to sleep. No one was in the house, so I understood that they had already left. I was on the phone with my cousin, asking him what the hell was going on, and he seemed confused too. All the things that happened the previous night suddenly came into focus, and I understood that it was the pills. Anyways, I still had to do errands, because the people who work for me came the next day, so I had to buy groceries and stuff.<br><br>At that point, when I was trying to walk to the store, I suddenly understood that I was still completely wasted, it was 3 PM and I couldn't walk straight, and at that point everything came into focus. I was extremely confused and I felt terrible, it was like being drunk, but much worse. I was also extremely paranoid and anxious, I couldn't understand how much Kratom I had ingested, and how much of it was still in my body. I had to take a shit, but at the same time, I felt extremely nauseous, and it was literally the worst time of my life, it was stupid.<br><br>So, not much later, I was extremely hungover after the effects wore off, and I was still sick for the rest of the day. All in all, it was a terrible experience, and I do not recommend Kratom to anyone. I have never had such a terrible experience with any substance, and I not recommend it to anyone.
