I only wear 6 outfits a month. It was a great idea

I’m a 17m/26f, and I’m a “stay at home” dogwalker. I walk dogs for 1-2 hours a day, and after that I do things like read, listen to music, or do a little bit of exercise. So my work is outside and my free time is how most people spend their free time - no need to dress up. <br><br>I know some people who say they only wear the same 4 shirts (or whatever number) all the time, which is an interesting idea. I think these people only count shirts, then add any pants they want, but I didn’t want to do that. I wanted to count every article of clothing, including socks and shoes. <br><br>I settled on only wearing 3 outfits with shoes, and 3 outfits without shoes. <br><br>So these are my outfits:<br><br>Outfit 1: <br><br>Leggings <br>T-shirt <br>Socks <br>my Birkenstocks<br><br>Outfit 2:<br><br>Shorts <br>T-shirt <br>Socks <br>My Birkenstocks <br><br>Outfit 3: <br><br>Leggings <br>T-shirt <br>No socks <br>My Birkenstocks <br><br>Outfit 4: <br><br>Yoga pants <br>Sports bra <br>No socks <br>No shoes <br><br>Outfit 5: <br><br>Shorts <br>Sports bra <br>No socks <br>No shoes <br><br>Outfit 6: <br><br>Yoga pants <br>T-shirt <br>No socks <br>No shoes <br><br>I love this so far. It helps me mentally because I don’t have to think about what I’m gonna wear. I always get dressed right away when I wake up because I know what I’m gonna wear. I don’t have to think about matching socks to the rest of my outfit. My outfits are always matching. everything goes together no matter what. The colors even all go together if I layer anything, which is very comforting to me. I used to have a lot of clothes, but I’ve given away about 3/4 of my closet. It’s just nice to not have to worry about what I’m gonna wear, or if I’m gonna match. I’m gonna match no matter what. <br><br>I even went to the mall with a friend over the weekend and went to a couple stores, and I wore my Birkenstocks, shorts, and t-shirt. I didn’t care at all, I didn’t feel like I was dressed down, because everyone goes to the mall in shorts and a t-shirt. If I go anywhere else I know what I’m gonna wear, and if I need anything I just throw on my Birkenstocks. My outfits are simple, easy, and I love them. They make it so easy to get ready in the mornings since I always know what I’m gonna wear.
