Folks, have you noticed that awful cooks are always the most "clever" people in the room. Nothing irks me more than being around an individual that is very "intelligent" but can't even make scrambled eggs to save their lives. But, we all just give them a pass because they are so smart?

Unacceptable!!

Edit: I'm not trying to shame anyone for not being able to cook. I'm just trying to change my view that I've personally always noticed being a "terrible cook" is just a play on being smarter than average and it bugs me.

Edit 2: Quick note. I'm just a husband and dad that happens to cook every night. I'm not a professional chef or anything. Just a husband/dad that cooks. I'm not saying everyone in the world has to be a good cook. I'm just trying to change my view that it seems like the majority of "terrible cooks" are intelligent for a reason, which bugs me.

Edit 3: I do apologize if anyone took this the wrong way. I'm just a dad that works, and then makes his family dinner every night, and I love to cook. I'm not some professional chef that is annoyed at others for not knowing how to cook. I'm just a dad that loves to cook.
