#1: Make a few meals at once. I make every single one of my meals at once. Every single one. It’s exhausting having to make 5 - 10 meals all at once. even if you make 5 meals a week instead of 10, that’s 5 meals that you can come home and take a nap or go about your day and rest.

#2: Cook a pot of rice and steamed veggies that you will just portion out into the meals. Your best friend ever invented by meal prep people is rice. Cooking every single time is not worth it to eat every single day. You can cook rice, chickpeas, quinoa, OR oats (with a little bit of milk or water) for every single meal you have, Then you have a base, and you only have to make proteins and veggies.

You can also cook your proteins in advance, not bare bones meat. Chicken breast is good, and you can cook chicken breast in advance, but what you can do is have 10 chicken breasts and make 10 different meal preps with those chicken breasts. You can make chicken tikka masala, chicken parmesan, chicken tikka salad, steak salad, chicken fried rice, chicken w/ peas, chicken w/ other starches. Make sure you are adding a little fat to your meals to keep you full and satiated. You can also just make your own salad dressing and look up a salad recipe that sounds good. You can make a lot of really good salads with the bare bones of chicken breast. You can eat it whole, on the side, or in chunks for a salad.
You can also add cheese to a salad and have a little bit extra fat as well, just be careful and be very aware of how much cheese you are eating.

You can also cook a ton of veggies in advance, and just mix it into anything that you eat. Make sure you are also steaming your veggies so you are not losing any of the nutrients.

I also think a big key is to prep your snacks too. I make a big batch of cookies, a big batch of brownies, or I make pudding for 10 days. I also like to make pancakes and waffles, because you can freeze them, and make it really easy to take out and eat them.
If you guys want I can post my snack recipes and my meal prep recipes, and I can give you a list of the meal prep containers I use as well if you are struggling with meal prep in general.

please comment below any questions or concerns you might have.
Let me know if you want recipes and I will post them.

Thank you,
Rusty
