I work in a VERY busy gunshop. It's always 10-15 minute wait. We sell close to 1000 guns monthly. **EVERY. SINGLE. DAY. THEY ARE FLYING OFF THE SHELVES.**

I was there at 5am this morning bringing in stock and restocking. The first customer was there at 7:30am. Not even waiting for us to open.

Before 8am, we sold 20 guns and hundreds of mags.

By 5pm, we were down to 2 ARs left and 2 ak47 left.

It's absolutely fucking crazy. I had a dude beg me to sell him 2 shotguns that were going into the "used" display. I was told to sell him another if I could find one.

As of **5pm, we were out of:**

**ALL HANDGUNS.**

**ALL MAGS.**

**ALL BULLETS.**

**ALL AR RIFLES.**

**ALL AK RIFLES.**

**ALL SHOTGUNS.** (subtract 2 I found for the begging dude)

At least 10 people called today asking what we had and left disappointed.

We sold hundreds of mags, including every Glock mag, M&P mag, and all the AK/AR mags. 10s of thousands of rounds of ammo. We are now out of FMJ 9mm, FMJ .223 and .308 and all .22LR. We are a very small gunshop.

We are getting 100s of guns incoming this week. I was told to not bother opening tomorrow (my Sunday).

We are getting 1000s of firearms next week. Our basement is full and a semi is coming. 10s of thousands of rounds of ammo and mags are coming.

As of 5pm, we took 14 deposits on guns that haven't come in yet. People are willing to wait 30 days for their guns (even after we told them it could be longer) because they can't find anything else.

People are screaming at us that we are overpricing guns. We are selling most of our ARs for $700-800. Most of our Glocks for $400-500. We have no pricing power. We could be selling them for double that and not have a single complaint.

The margins are thin. We buy these guns at "wholesale" prices from our suppliers. Our suppliers are buying the guns from the manufacturers at higher prices, which are increasing daily.

I have 2 orders in with one supplier for 160 rifles. I was told they are 90 days out. I placed the orders in early Sept. I was called and told that they could fill one of the orders but that they were going to be $50 more than they quoted me in Sept. I was also told that the other order is going to be a couple hundred more than that!

That's $250 more than what I bought it for in Sept. What am I going to charge? What choice do I have? I'm out of stock of all rifles and the order from a different supplier is 60 days out.

I've been told that they will eventually fill all the orders. They are just backed up and need time.

We are getting guns in daily. We restock a case and it's empty again in a couple hours.

I was **NOT** prepared for this. I thought that the panic was over and things would slow down.

I am now **_EXTREMELY_** happy that I stockpiled 2.5 decades ago! I'm getting older and don't want to have to deal with this shit.

If you are in the market to buy a new gun, good luck to you. Buy what you can now. The prices will continue to skyrocket.

You have no fucking idea how many guns are selling right now.
