New problem: I have no way of cleaning my rifle anymore.

So I got my dad to let me buy my first rifle (a Remington 700 SPS Tactical .308) with the caveat that I need to keep it clean, and I have successfully completed that for over a year now, but the problem is my cleaning rod (3pc Hoppes 36") is too short to clean this rifle because it has a longer barrel (20") compared to my 16.5" barrel ARs, and I can't afford a longer rod so I'll have to wait ~1.5 months to get the money to buy a longer rod.
