My friend is such a jerk.

I went to visit a friend, and on my way back home, I got my hair cut (1 hour wait). <br><br>When I got back, my friend had a housewarming party.<br><br>Everyone started to compliment me on my hair, and I said, I got it cut 30 minutes ago or something.<br><br>And my friend literally said “I was gonna compliment your hair, but now I don’t want to.” And then just walked away. <br><br>And honestly, I was just gonna say thank you (as if people complimented me), and tell them I got it cut today.<br><br>I was so confused.<br><br>And then after the party, my friend just called me a jerk. What? <br><br>I don’t understand why my friend would take this so seriously, when I literally just said I cut my hair. ?<br><br>Am I really a jerk?
