For a minimalist – everything is temporary

I feel this is an important part to discuss. It’s about the things that we can’t control. Your stuff, your home, your life, your body, even the people around you and the emotions we have towards the world.

It’s good to create, to improve your life and surroundings. To feel happy and comfortable, but everything is temporary.

Even if you do nothing with your life – everything will change.

Maybe this is the reason I have a hard time with hoarders. You’re holding onto something that will never be you again.

I have zero attachment to anything in my life. I’m not even attached to myself and my weird body. I’m not attached to my apartment, my emotions, career, relationships.

I get a lot of joy from being age 30, and I know this will pass. I get a lot of joy from my family and pets, but I know this will pass. I live in a great city right now, but I know this will pass.

Life is exciting. I don’t understand why people want to live in the past or hold onto weird things. They can’t even enjoy the present moment.
