Who the hell pushes toward an anime aesthetic for the metaverse

If anything the future of gaming and the internet should be in a similar aesthetic of real life, not anime. Why make a metaverse that is incredibly cringe, like those vr headsets that are just a bunch of cringe anime girls with big breasts stuffed inside of it.

And if you say "it's to make it easier to animate" then fuck off. We've had video games for decades. We've had desks for decades. We've had cars, planes, and all sorts of other real life objects that are all incredibly more-so in terms of animation complexity to animate. And for the love of all things holy, please just make the metaverse a "merchaverse" instead, that way we can just buy RL products in it. Like a digital store of some sort. We already have those in game, we all know how minecraft lets you buy RL merch in game.

Just dont make it anime. That's something that a bunch of cringy normies would do.
