A 3 year old showed me my wife in a new light.

I want to preface this by saying that my wife is not a chubby woman, nor even a curvy woman. She is however the most beautiful woman in the world to me and this story needs to be told.<br><br>So my cousin babysits my daughters, and my wife's favorite human is her daughter. The child calls my wife "Auntie S." and it's the most adorable thing you've ever heard.<br><br>The other day my wife was in our living room with my cousin's daughter, they were playing with some dolls and having a great time. At one point my wife needed to go to the kitchen to get a drink, and this is where this story gets important.<br><br>As my wife stands up her belly rolls forward, and she waddles slightly towards the kitchen. I don't really think of this as anything of note, as my wife is just a woman who has a woman's body with some curves, hips and a butt and belly.<br><br>But that day I saw it through the eyes of the 3 year old.<br><br>When she saw my wife stand up, her eyes widened in awe as she said in the most excited, innocent voice I'd ever heard. "Auntie S. has a big tummy now!"<br><br>And my wife, she...she just smiled and said "Yeah honey, I do have a big tummy!"<br><br>And the little girl just nodded and was so happy.<br><br>My wife's expression was something I can only describe as a mix of happiness and some embarrassment. But in that moment, I got to see my wife through the eyes of a child.<br><br>My wife, who I love so much with her big tummy. Who is gorgeous, and has a gorgeous tummy. And I don't see it as often as I should, and I feel like I need to change that.
