People who started learning Mandarín, what are your thoughts about the tones?

Hello. I'm Spanish native speaker and I'm thinking on start with Mandarín. I'd love to hear your thoughts about this so I have a more or less idea of what I'm getting into it. I know there are a lot of Mandarín learners on this sub so hopefully I'll get many answers.<br><br>Tnx
