Written by AI - how would you improve it?

I've written a book that a publisher is mildly interested in. However, I have pitched it as, and it is, written 100% by AI. He has no interest in a book like this at all and is asking me to make it my own. In other words, edit extensively.<br><br>This is my first ever book so I am not sure how to do this properly. Do you edit the premise, characters, plot, sentences, paragraphs or what will be "enough"? I don't want to end up editing the book and then sending it to him again and him saying it is still too AI-ish. I want to make sure I don't waste his time (or mine).<br><br>Thanks.
