I recently sold a AR pistol that I just didn't get to. Found a buyer for $350 (i value it at $450) and one for $500 (located out of state). You know the drill. 25 days ahead of the ban, the background check isn't back. Now it has to go to my FFL who has to do his background check then ship it overnight to an FFL in the buyers state. With the sale, back ground, and eveyone's FFL fees it is now $700. Or I wait until the buyer gets his background check done and he comes to pick it up (I don't think he will do that). I am not giving him a gun with no background done. 2 weeks ago a seller listed a 16" barrel at 300$. That is illegal and he is playing with fire. The seller had a 16" barrel and a pistol barrel. He shipped the pistol barrel at the $300. Only if they raid him will the buyer find out he is a felon for owning a firearm with no background. I just don't want to ever have to tell police when they show up at my door that I sold a firearm to a felon. Lying there and taking back the firearm is just not something I want to do.
