At work, I started writing down my tasks at the end of the day so I can hit the ground running in the morning. I'm a software engineer btw. When I write them down, I feel thoroughly relaxed for the rest of the evening and I don't worry about work the new day because I know exactly what I have to do and there's nothing left to stress about it.

However, I have been going about my day to day life without jotting down my daily tasks thoroughly. Could be anything from sending a birthday card to my sister to sending a text to a friend to pick me up from the airport. I have started getting anxious lately not getting any stuff done. Yesterday, it hit me - each morning I should write down my daily tasks. But, I'm trying to find out how you guys tackle your daily tasks. Let me know.

TL;DR - Every morning at work I write down my tasks for the day at the end of the previous day. But, for my daily life I have been struggling.
