How do you tell if a girl is shy because she’s crushing on you, and if she’s just naturally shy?

Like I’m hung up on this girl I obviously can’t have, but she’s been wanting to hang out a lot, is very obvious with her crush and has been kind of hitting on me. I’ve flirted a little back just to show I’m interested and her entire face turns red. <br><br>She’s been acting like this since early October, and when I first met her in July, she was very standoffish and didn’t talk to me much. <br><br>Like, is she naturally shy around everyone? How do I know? I don’t want to obviously ask, but I’m very interested in her and would like to know if she’s shy bc she’s crushing on me, or if she’s shy bc she’s a shy person. <br><br>I understand shyness VERY well, as I’m a shy person myself. I’m in a lot of situations where I have to talk to people, so I’m good at faking extroversion now, but I’m naturally very introverted. <br><br>So is there a way to tell if she’s shy bc she’s into me? If I didn’t already have a crush on her, I could see that she’s visiting me frequently and say, “oh well, she probably has a crush on me,” but I already have a crush on her, so I’m a little biased lol. <br><br>I just want to know how to tell. It’s a little hard to help her become comfortable when I’m not sure WHY she’s shy.
