I’m a software engineer and when Issh into servers, my account only has permission to do the things which are absolutely necessary for my job, and nothing more. Following this principle, I have managed to “ssh” into my life. I start the day at 6 am and go to bed at 11 pm. During this my phone, Ipad, other electronics and tv are password protected.
I can only have permission to use them by solving a cryptic password which is in turn a hint for the activity I need to do once the password is cracked. E.g. using my phone, I need to crack a password which is “you need to dial the number of the person who is responsible for your health” which is my personal trainer. Once I crack the password, I am forced to do a quick phone call with him for 15 minutes discussing my exercise routine and by the end of it, i have already done my 15 minutes of morning exercise without realizing it.
Overall time spent on this activity = 30 minutes.
Eg 2. I need to crack the password for my iPad “you need to talk to a person who can give you money” which is my manager. I call him and crack the password and get to work by solving a mini puzzle problem which he has for me. I was planning to spend 30 minutes on the iPad scrolling mindlessly but I end up cracking the password, talking to my manager, getting to work and feeling productive by the end of the 30 minutes.

This has significantly increased my productivity and streamlined my daily tasks.
Use this method and you can also “ssh” into your life.
