Pay is important, always be on the look out and willing to jump for better pay. I get it

I’m currently making 160k a year and it feels like I’m stealing. I just don’t think my position is worth what I’m being paid. I’m a salaried mechanical engineer at a top 5 defense contractor. My work load is extremely light and I feel I’m just wasting time any time I’m not doing “work” for my job. I’m productive, always busy, but I’m still feeling guilty about not really “earning” my salary. I’m not working like I did in college. I’m not working 50 hour weeks like some of my colleagues. I’m working 40 hours a week and I’m done and feel finished and done with work for the day.

Anyone else in this boat?

**TLDR:** 160k a year salaried and I don’t feel like I’m “earning” what I’m paid.
