Elon Musk said he would step down as CEO of Twitter as soon as he is able to find a replacement, which likely means a months-long search. The billionaire's tenure as CEO has been marred by sudden and drastic changes, including widespread layoffs and a sharp shift in moderation policies that have shaken the site's core user base. But it seemed Fellows' assessment hit a nerve -- Musk began a user poll to determine if he should step down as CEO. "I will abide by the results of this poll," he said. Should he step aside, former CEO Parag Agrawal is rumored to be a possible replacement.
