I did a single meal prep for one person for 5 days and it came to **$85.58**. I don’t even have any protein yet and I’m going to add that on Monday.

This is what I have done so far:

Apples (7) **$8.94**

Carrots (2 lbs) **$4.46**

Oranges (12) **$7.28**

Grapes (2 pint boxes) **$8.94**

Tomatoes (1 pint) **$4.46**

Cucumber (1 pint box) **$4.46**

Lettuce (1 pint box) **$3.50**

Bread (1 loaf) **$3.82**

Almond milk (gal) **$4.28**

Bottled water (24 pack) **$8.92**

Yogurt (12 pack) **$8.92**

Eggs (12 pack) **$2.24**

12 oz containers (100 pack), **$21.12**

Cooking utensils (bottle brush, knife sharpener, oven mitt, tongs) **$8.03**

Aluminum foil sheets (130 sheets), **$13.74**

Biodegradable bags (100 pack) **$10.41**

Total: **$85.58**

I still need to buy frozen fruit, frozen berries, cheese sticks, and probably a couple other things.

How can anyone say that’s cheap?
