App that helps you understand your smartphones permissions

So I know there is a lot of them out there but most require root.<br><br>So basically my idea is an app that reads the app's manifest file and helps you understand what it is doing with it's permissions.<br><br>For example on the app list page you see the icon, name of app and how many permissions it is using. If you click on an app you see a list of permissions and a brief summary of what it is doing with them.<br><br>You could click the permissions to go to a more detailed page with some general information about what the permission allows the app to do with your phone without being too technical (i.e. **CONTACTS**<br><br>Allows this app to read your contacts list and to modify it.<br><br>Allows app to read your email address)<br><br>On this page it would also go into more detail what the app is actually doing with that permission from it's manifest file (if it is set) i.e. what activities it is doing with the contacts permission.<br><br>You could also swipe to different pages on this app page and see things like the app's storage size, data and cache sizes. As well as the app version, install date, package name and things like that.<br><br>It would also have a search function where you could search for permissions or apps.<br><br>If you swipe from the right you would see a Hamburger menu with settings and other things like that.<br><br>If you swipe from the bottom you would get a list of all installed apps and you could click on one to switch to that apps page (this could also be disabled in the settings menu).<br><br>The whole thing would also be completely free with no ads or in-app purchases.<br><br>I would call it something simple like "Permission Reader" or "App Permissions". I know these names aren't very original but I think it gets the point across.<br><br>Also if an app is using an undocumented permission you would still see it in the list and it would just say **UNDOCUMENTED**<br><br>Allows ?permissions?.<br><br>Allows app to ?permissions?.<br><br>And on the app page it would just be ?permission?.<br><br>I think this app would be helpful for 2 reasons. The first is that I know there is people out there like me that want to know what an app is doing with my info and sometimes you can't find the permissions an app is using in it's app info page in the android settings.<br><br>The second reason is that sometimes people download an app and don't know what they are doing with their permissions and they give away all of their info.<br><br>EDIT: I did not know about this app already existing I am sad now :(.
