Five Guys Employee was a Weirdo

I don't know if I've shared this story yet on this sub.

I've worked at Five Guys for almost 2 years now, and I hadn't had any bad experiences with customers until this one day.

It was at the end of the shift, 9pm ish, and we stop serving food at 10pm, so we were just kinda preparing for closing and stuff.

Well, this very tall man comes in by himself. He looked to be in his late 20's early 30's, and very very thin. He was at least 6ft7 if not more. I'm not sure how tall because I'm a short bitch, but he was taller than any man I've seen. He didn't have any hair, and had bright blue eyes. He got a large drink and a large fry.

My manager decided to comp his food because he was a "regular" and usually tipped us well. He sat in our dining room for 45 mins on his phone just drinking and eating.

Well, a woman with a kid comes in and orders food. I take her order and she waits for her food. She decides to sit at the table next to tall guy, and is on her phone with the kid. Well, tall guy keeps looking over at them, but I assume it's because the kid was being loud.

Well, they get their food, and leave. About 20 mins later, a cop comes in asking about the woman and the man that was with her. We're all confused because the man left way before her. The cop asks if we saw her go outside and talk to him. We were all confused. The cop got a call about a suspicious man following a woman around town.

Well, it clicked. Tall guy left right after they did, and was walking in the direction they were going. We are almost positive it was him.

This happened over a year ago, and there hasn't been any other incidents like this, so I'm hoping he either moved out of town or went to jail for something else.

EDIT: I think this is my most popular post, and I'm sorry if it didn't live up to the standard.

EDIT 2: I'm seeing a lot of comments asking why we didn't call the police. At the time, our manager didn't think it was that big of a deal, and didn't want to call the cops unnecessarily. I'm not sure if she was being lazy or not, but by the time the cops did come, they had already been gone for so long. Like I said, it was over a year ago, and I haven't seen tall guy since.
