China's population has fallen for the first time in decades. What impact would this have on the global economy?

It's my understanding that China is a major world player in manufacturing goods such as textiles and electronics. With a shrinking workforce, I suppose this would lead to higher labor costs. But how would a China with a shrinking population impact the global economy in general?
