Can someone help me get started on witchcraft?

I'm very, very, very new to this and supposed to be doing magic for the world, and I haven't fucking done anything yet. How do I even start? I read about the sticky thing, but I'm just so confused, and it feels so stupid. Should I get any specific items? How do I know? I really don't know what to do. I tried sage-ing my home but I didn't know what to say while doing it so I just did it. I also didn't burn the entire thing, I don't know why, I just didn't. I also read about tarot cards, what's that for? How do I use them? What's the purpose? I'm so confused. I just want to help and get my life together, physical and mental. Is there any specific magic for that? How do I do it? I just want some help. Can someone give me a short list of steps on how to get started? I've been trying for 2 years now, and I'm still stuck. I just want to take action.<br><br>2 hours later: I just burned sage in my home, and I think I have a headache, but I don't feel any different, and I'm getting impatient. I still can't find my incense thing. I'm still lost. I still don't know how to get started. I still don't know what to do. I really just want to know if any of you people mention in the sticky are safe, or if any of you are trustworthy. I just want someone to talk to that knows more about witchcraft and magic than I do. I hate this. I've been trying for 2 years and I'm still so damn lost. I just want to be able to help. I just want to take action. I feel so powerless. I don't understand.
