How do I get my girlfriend to knock off this annoying habit?

My girlfriend is a really sweet girl, and I love her to death, but she has this incredibly annoying habit. Every.single.night. She insists on going to bed before I do. <br><br>Now, to you, that probably doesn’t seem like a very big deal, but the thing is, she gets ready for bed *way* earlier than I do. Every night, and I mean literally *every night*, she’ll go to bed, and then I’ll stay up for maybe another hour or so. I’m a night owl – always have been, and so is she, but she’s been going to bed way earlier than usual lately. She used to stay up with me, and we’d talk or watch a movie together or something before I went to sleep.<br><br>But she always, *always* goes to bed before I do. Like clockwork. Every single time. And not only that – she also insists on sleeping on the side of the bed farthest from the door. I was originally on that side, but she said she prefers being on that side, and I can’t sleep on the side nearest the door, because I’m too big of a wimp. So now I have to sleep on the side closest to the door. <br><br>She also used to be weird about something else, like if I was in one of the rooms, even if I wasn’t doing anything, she’d come in and join me. Like, every time. I could be in the middle of a phone call, and she’d sit there and listen. I could be doing my homework, and she’d sit across from me at the table. Every single time, she joins me in the room. <br><br>Now, I like to have my girlfriend around, don’t get me wrong. I love her, and it’s nice to have her near. But I also like having my alone space, you know? And even then, she changed that recently too. Now, she’s not so big on joining me in the room anymore – at least, she isn’t when I’m doing my homework. <br><br>But yeah, back to the sleeping thing. She also used to always wake me up in the morning. I’m not much of a morning person, so she’d gently shake me and wake me up, because I was always having trouble waking up on my own. But now she doesn’t wake me up anymore. Why? No fucking clue. She just doesn’t anymore. <br><br>So yeah, that’s my problem. My girlfriend now goes to sleep before I do, sleeps on the side of the bed farthest from the door, joins me in the room less often, and doesn’t wake me up in the morning anymore. <br><br>How do I get her to knock all that shit off? – Morgan
